BirdLife Northern NSW match dollar for dollar

Funds raised from two successful campouts via a small registration fee was matched dollar for dollar by BirdLife Northern NSW,  raising $6000 to go towards five local bird conservation projects.  Projects to be funded are: a breeding biology study of the Black Falcon;  monitoring the population of the endangered Rufous Scrub-bird in New England Key Biodiversity Area;a study of plastic ingestion by seabirds in the vicinity of Lord Howe Island; provision of warning and educational signs in breeding areas for beach-nesting and shorebirds in the vicinity of Port Macquarie; and support for Orange-bellied Parrot conservation projects. We are proud to be able to support this important work.
