Caretakers required for Eyre Bird Observatory

We have  a staffing problem at Eyre Bird Observatory and are seeking assistance from anyone who is interested and able to help.

Due to late cancellations we are left with a gap in the roster for February to end of April 2018 and are in need of volunteer caretakers. We require a couple. The work includes catering for a few overnight guests, carrying out bird surveys, light maintenance, and weather reporting twice a day.

Eyre is on the Nullarbor coast, an hour and a half by 4WD from Cocklebiddy roadhouse, on the Eyre Highway. Cocklebiddy is about 1300km east of Perth and about 300km west of the SA border.

Please contact Alma de Rebeira by phone (08 9298 8999) or by email eyre@birdlife.org.au for more information.
