Western Ground Parrot captive release update

Perth Zoo has just announced that their only Western Ground Parrot pair is having a third attempt to nest. After two failed breeding attempts this season which resulted in six infertile eggs and a single egg which stopped developing after several days, female "Fifi" has laid another four eggs. Western Ground Parrots have never been bred in captivity before. If Fifi succeeds in producing chicks this will be a world first.
