Our wonderful Discovery Centre volunteers continue their great work - Southern NSW

Our wonderful Discovery Centre volunteers continue their great work spreading the news about birds and their conservation. Each weekend visitors come to find out more or see what's happening on EagleCAM. Others join in on the monthly free bird walk. We've encouraged children to come fly with us during our regular Holiday activities "Walk and Squawk" and "Riverside BIrdlife". We've even talked about  dinosaurs and birds. During Science Week we continued our regular involvement at the Redfern Community Centre, talking about Flight and Feathers. Hundreds of school children discovered more about flight at the Youth Eco Summit . We've talked with local school children about the amazing flight, and now plight, of the Bar-tailed Godwits - one of our Parramatta River Catchment river mascots.

Our members and volunteers have spread the word to many people, and particularly children - our wildlife supporters of the future.
