Helena and Aurora Range hangs in the balance

Helena and Aurora Range hangs in the balance

The future of the wonderful Helena and Aurora Range hangs in the balance. If Mineral Resources Limited has its way, the Helena and Aurora Range, or Bungalbin to its traditional owners, will be developed into 4 km of open-cut iron-ore mines. Gone will be the range's unique, ancient landforms and vital habitats - only to be replaced with a lifeless landscape of desolate mine pits and rock-waste dumps. BirdLife WA would love to hear from you. Visit http://www.birdsyoulove.org/helena and tell us what you love about the Helena and Aurora Range and why you want to see it protected. We will use your comments to reach out to the community and government to ensure our collective voice is heard.
