Volunteer with BirdLife Northern Queensland for this exciting adventure in search of a remarkable species!
When - from 10th June -1st July with a possible extension to July 8. You can arrive any weekend and stay for not less than a week.
Where - from Mount Isa to Lawn Hill to China Wall and Borroloolla. Camp as you go in beautiful country.
Cost - Fuel & food.
Aim - to complete the 2017 survey and establish whether the indication of four separate populations (one now extinct) is real. Planning a recovery strategy will be much more likely to succeed if it is a single population.
