Birds in Plantations volunteer CALL OUT Western Vic Grand final weekend

This Birds in Plantations project aims to understand how woodland birds use blue gum plantations in a mosaic of native and production forest and to develop better on-ground management guidelines for birds in plantations.

The project is in its third year in Western Victoria and is being run for the first year in Western Australia. Volunteers are required for the Victoria surveys.  These are run over the October long weekend (grand final weekend), which this year is the 29th Sept – 1st Oct.

Some costs are covered. Please e-mail kerryn.herman@birdlife.org.au for further information
