Newhaven Annual bird survey March 2018 is looking for volunteers!

Newhaven Wildlife Sanctuary, run by the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, is conducting its annual bird survey in March 2018 from Saturday 10 March to Saturday 24 March.

Newhaven lies approximately 340kms north west of Alice Springs. Participants need to be physically fit and capable of working in hot, adverse conditions in a variety of demanding terrains.  Team members can expect to undertake an average of 4 surveys per day which leaves plenty of free time to explore this wonderful sanctuary.  If you are interested in joining the 2018 team and/or would like more information, please contact Judith Hoyle by email at puffin_54@hotmail.com, or by phoning 0437549301.
