Act for Birds. Act for Nature - Join our Webinar this Tuesday night
Our new campaign - Act for Birds - is kicking off today, and we're excited to have you on board speaking out on behalf of our amazing birds.
We are strongest when we work together.
We know that when highly engaged people and communities work collectively for a worth cause, our elected representatives listen and act accordingly. Just look at the recent outcome the BirdLife community helped win for the birds of the Murray-Darling Basin and the Helena and Aurora Range!
Now is our chance to shape the future for all our birds.
Over the next few months you'll receive campaign updates, including how BirdLife is engaging at the highest level of Government and how you can get involved with easy actions at home.
The new nature laws campaign is bold and ambitious.
We want everyone to feel confident taking part. That’s why we’re giving you the chance to connect with other passionate, like-minded bird-lovers and ask any questions you might have of our campaign staff.
Join us on your phone or laptop for an informal conversation about the campaign. You'll get to meet our team member Kim, and chat about new nature laws and our plan to win. It's not going to be a lecture – think of it like Q&A but you as the live audience. Feel free to drop in late or leave early – we'll try to make time to answer all your questions.
When: Tuesday, 6th March - Time: 6:30PM (AEDT) 3:30PM (AWST)
Can't make this one? Don’t fret!
If you can't attend this first webinar, no worries, just let us know. As soon as we've got a critical mass of people who want another conversation to happen, we'll book the next webinar for you to attend. We’ll also record the session so you can tune in at a later time.
We are immensely excited by the opportunity this campaign presents.
As our eyes, ears and voices on the ground, you have real power to inform the discussion, influence decision-makers and help shape the outcome.
See you Tuesday,
