WA engages supporters with a competition to get busy on Birdata

Spring is a great time to get back into birding after a cold wet winter. As an incentive, we will be running a Birdata competition. Every Birdata observer that submits at least 10 surveys in WA in September, October AND November (i.e. a total of at least 30) goes in to the running to win a copy of the forthcoming book Night Parrot: Australia’s most elusive bird by Penny Olsen. The winner will be selected at random from amongst eligible observers on 1st December, so get out there and get counting! All survey types count towards your total, and surveys done anywhere in the state can be included.
It’s not too late to sign up – visit http://birdata.birdlife.org.au/ to find out how. Contact Tegan Douglas if you have any questions, on tegan.douglas@birdlife.org.au
