2019 South Coast Festival of Birds and Biodiversity

The 2019 South Coast Festival of Birds and Biodiversity is underway with events running through to April. Green Skills and BirdLife Australia will deliver an exciting program of events including field trips, citizen science survey, workshops, art exhibitions, nature walks, birdwatching outings, a concert, kite fiesta,  a science symposium and film screening activities. Mon 4 March - Lake Seppings Bird Walk

Thu 14 March - Threatened Species Habitat Visit
3pm - 8pm Field trip to Waychinicup hosted jointly by BirdLife/Friends of the Western Ground Parrot focussing on endangered species of the Albany region. Guestspeaker: Regional ecologist Sarah Comer (DBCA). Meet at Lower King Bridge car park. Sturdy footwear recommended. Also bring water and something to snack on. Limited places. Cost: $20.
